It can be difficult when your body is striving towards health but hindered by sickness and symptoms like weight gain, headaches, lack of energy, and stress. I can assure you that by working with me, your seemingly endless search for answers to naturally heal your body will finally come to an end.
I haven’t suffered from a migraine in over 8 years. When I was a child, I suffered from debilitating migraine headaches. I was bound to the couch and often told to lie down to try to ease the agony and pain. I would feel dizzy and become nauseous while all the other children my age were outside playing. It wasn’t easy staying inside attached to a couch or my bed hoping that just a little rest would alleviate my painful migraine and the underlying sickness that was the source of it. Laying down never helped me feel better; neither did more sleep nor pain relievers. Eventually, the pain worsened to the point where I felt like my head would literally burst it was throbbing so badly.
The pressure in my head was so intense that it would blur my vision and hurt my eyes. The doctors told my mother that I should wear glasses to lessen the migraines. Although it helped, it didn’t entirely cure my headaches. I had tried absolutely everything to rid myself of the pain of a throbbing head and blurred vision. I continued to pursue a solution, and when I discovered nutrition in high school, it peaked my interest. My concentration grew quickly when I learned the many ways in which food is curative and destructive to the body.

I later pursued a degree in Dietetics when I went to American College of Healthcare Sciences University. During my undergraduate studies, I discovered that I could use food to restore my body. Learning how food directly impacted the body stirred up a new passion in me to bring to light everything I could find about the power and benefits of food, outside the basic need to keep the body fed. I first tested my theories on myself using a combination of various foods to detoxify my body. I made changes to my diet, increased the amount of green, leafy vegetables I consumed and balanced this with an active exercise regimen. I immediately noticed a radical improvement in my overall health. Within two years of my studies, I realized that the migraine episodes had completely disappeared and I no longer needed to wear glasses. Recently, I completed a Master’s degree in Holistic Nutrition. I felt it was necessary to further my education in this area so that I could help and educate women and men on how they can reclaim their health through a healthy and balanced diet, along with an exercise regimen. We can all find the right healthy balance and attain what we desire out of our daily lives.
